How to Use Proactiv Refining Mask for Acne Treatment

Proactiv Refining Mask is a supplemental skincare product developed by Proactiv to further increase the effectiveness of the 3-Step Acne Treatment Skincare System used by hundreds of satisfied customers all over the world in treating mild and moderate acne conditions and preventing future breakouts from happening again.

To use Proactiv Refining Mask as part of your skincare regimen, here are the steps to follow:

Before applying the refining mask on your face, make sure that you first cleanse this.  Using Proactiv Renewing Cleanser, massage a pea-size amount using a circular motion for a few minutes, concentrating on the forehead, nose and chin areas.  Rinse this out thoroughly and pat dry with a clean towel.

To apply the refining mask, squeeze out a dime-size amount of the mask and distribute this evenly on your face.  Work the mask into your skin pores by gently massaging the mask with circular strokes using your fingertips.  Again, focus on the forehead, nose and chin areas.  Allow the mask to stay for no more than 15 minutes on your face as letting it stay longer may cause the sulfur in the mask to dry up your skin.  Rinse this out using warm water, gently rubbing your face to thoroughly remove the mask.  Pat dry your face with a clean towel.

After using the refining mask, follow this with the Revitalizing Toner and the Repairing Lotion, which are part of the 3-Step Acne Treatment Skincare System developed by Proactiv.

Just like with any skincare product, it is highly recommended to first consult your dermatologist before using this product.  This is because some people may have allergic reactions to sulfur and benzoyl peroxide, which are listed as among the ingredients in this refining mask.  Also, your dermatologist would be in the best position to advise you on how long and often to use the refining mask to prevent your skin to dry out and for you to experience the maximum benefits of this skincare product.
